Creativity with the Recycling Bin!
I love watching kids be creative! Each morning we spend about 20 minutes together as a homeroom. My students are currently collecting bottle caps and creating an art project with them. Earlier in the year, they collected empty plastic bottles and scraps of paper from the recycling bin to create a bowling game! All of this was student initiated and student executed. The only thing I did was give them permission to explore their out of the box ideas!
