On Thursday, several students got down and dirty! We planted 10 Ponderosa Pine saplings near our outdoor classroom as part of the Trees into Cartons, Cartons into Trees program. Great job kids!!!!
Many thanks to our wonderful school board!!! We appreciate the time, effort and dedication you give to provide our children with the best possible education. It takes a very special person to volunteer to serve on the school board and we appreciate all of you!!
Fabulous lesson from the World War II Museum in New Orleans! They helped us examine political cartoons by Dr. Seuss, answered questions and gave us a tour of the museum.
I am glad you are here. I can't wait to get to know you and I look forward to meeting you at Meet the Teacher Night on August 19. Please feel free to comment on this post, introduce yourself and let me know what you did over the summer. You can also check out my Wikispace using the link to the right. We are going to have an awesome year exploring the world!
